Following hot on the heels of the successful Clerkenwell Bistro du Vin, Time Out London reviewer Euan Ferguson visits the recently opened Dean Street Bistro, and notes that the Hotel du Vin group have managed to evolve with the current trend of bistro eateries. In his column, Ferguson reports that the Bistro du Vin concept provides an ambience that is fitting of the trendy Soho set and shows no hint of its evolution from the Hotel du Vin stable. As in Bistro du Vin at Clerkenwell, the Soho Bistro has also opted for the 16 bottle By The Glass® Wine Dispenser.
Ferguson goes on to say, “Bistro du Vin might be a chain restaurant, but it’s the sort of chain we’re happy to see more of.”
Kelly Hussey of View London goes on to tell us that “Bistro du Vin impresses on every level and you don’t have to max out the credit card to experience it. Perfectly executed.”
The opening night of the Bistro, 29th June, was a resounding success. Several of the great and the good were happy to chat with customers in the relaxed atmosphere of Soho’s latest culinary addition. We saw many people milling around at the By The Glass® wine dispenser, and were thrilled by the reactions we were getting to the attraction of being able to buy several fine wines by the glass.
The diverse and intricate By The Glass wine list sits snugly in the 16 bottle dispenser, and is available in 50ml or 125ml servings. Bistro du Vin has matched the sophistication of their latest Soho Bistro with an eclectic fusion of fine wines that cleverly mirrors the client-base.
